Infrared LED, also known as infrared light diode or IR LED is a type of semiconductor that emits infrared radiation. The most commonly used diodes are made from silicon nitride, carbon nanotubes, and boron nitride. They have applications in remote sensing and detection of objects based on their temperature profiles.
UV LED:
UV LED is a type of LED that emits light with longer wavelengths than the conventional LEDs. The UV LEDs are available in different colors and their wavelength can be controlled by mixing them with other colors. The shorter wavelength of UV LEDs makes them useful for applications such as lighting, signage, advertising, etc., where high-intensity light is required.
