Wet grade manganese sulfate is a by-product obtained during the production of phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid. It contains about 24% manganese, which is used as an additive in animal feed to improve the quality of meat and increase its weight. Wet grade product has several advantages over dry grade such as it can be easily applied to large areas of the skin, it improves toughness & color of meat, increases yield & reduces fat content in animals.
Dry Grade:
Dry grade manganese sulfate is a granular solid material, which is used as an additive in animal feed. It helps to increase the level of phosphorous and zinc in the animal’s body. Phosphorous and zinc are essential for bone development and growth respectively. Manganese sulfate has no effect on calcium levels in bones; it only affects phosphorus & zinc content of bones.
