2-line Breeding Systems:
2-line Breeding (2LBS) is a technology used for hybrid rice seeds production. It helps in improving the overall yield and quality of the crop by enabling multiple traits to be inherited by the next generation of plants. 2-line Breeding Systems comprise of two or more parents, which are crossed under controlled environmental conditions to produce high yielding and superior plants with enhanced characteristics.
