Self-venting type is a kind of rotary vane gas turbine which uses the flow of gases as its power source. The working principle is based on the differential compression between two blades, one blade acts as a seal and prevents the entry of outside air while other performs intake stroke. As speed increases, so does pressure difference between both these seals and thus produces more power output.
Pumping Type:
Pumping type is used in the rotor spinning machinery to increase the speed of a liquid or gas by artificial means. The pumping type can be broadly segmented into two types which are reciprocating and centrifugal. Centrifugal pumping is widely used as compared to reciprocating owing to its advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, less power requirement and easy installation among others.
