PA1010 is a kind of polyamide, which has the general formula (Nylon 6,6) and contains at least one recurring unit of length 2.5-7 nm and breadth 0.1-2.5 nm. It also has an amorphous nature with no distinct crystalline or other phase; instead it’s in the middle between nylon 6,6 and polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
Reinforced PA1010:
Reinforced PA1010 is a kind of polymer composite, which consists of glass fibers and resin as main components. The product has high strength and stiffness due to the fiber component in it. Reinforced PA1010 composites are used for manufacturing automotive parts such as engine covers, transmission cases, rocker panels, dashboards & consoles along with other interior & exterior auto-body parts on account of their excellent impact resistance properties along with low weight characteristics.
