HWM rayon is a type of rayon, which has extremely high wet strength compared to standard viscose rayons. HWM refers to the measure of resistance offered by a material when it is wetted out and stretched. The higher the number, the greater is the stretchability or dry strength of fiber.


Viscose Rayon Fiber:


Viscose rayon fiber is a type of synthetic fiber that is produced from the viscose plant. The raw material for viscosity rayon fibers consists of wood pulp, which is processed under high pressure and temperature conditions to produce long-chain aliphatic polyester resin. This process also yields short-chain aliphatic polyester resin, commonly known as esterified cellulose or carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC).
