Diamines:
Diamines are organic compounds containing two diameters. They are usually represented by the symbol "N" followed by a number indicating the number of carbon atoms in the molecule. Diamines can be manufactured using various methods, for example, via direct oxidation of amine groups in appropriate solvents or via introduction of halogen and other anion (oxidizing) agents into appropriate precursors such as ethylene diamine (EDA).

The alkylamines are used in pesticides owing to their biodegradable properties. They also find applications as soil conditioners and fertilizers in the agricultural sector.
