Ordinary type is a transparent material that has no optical property. It can only be used as an additive to other materials to enhance their properties. The most common way of using it is by mixing it with glass or plastic resin, which enhances the light transmission and refraction index of the final product.
The major applications include windows, LCD screens, cell phones & tablets screen protectors among others.
