Product Definition:

Bio-PET:


Bio-PET is a degradable polymer, which can be recycled and used as a replacement for Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). It has the potential to replace PET in food & beverage packaging applications. Bio-PET is manufactured from sugarcane bagasse and corn stover. The raw materials are combined to form an organic liquid that when passed through a high temperature oven creates Bio-PET pellets.


Bio-PE:


Bio-PE is a bio-based polymer that can be produced from sugarcane bagasse and corn starch. Bio-PE has similar properties as compared to conventional PE, it is soft, flexible & clear with less weight and higher tensile strength. It also has better chemical resistance than conventional PE.
