Sublimation:


Sublimation is a process of change from solid to gaseous form. In this process, the material is heated at a temperature higher than the melting point and then it changes its phase from solid to gaseous form. The sublimation printing technique uses ink as an image carrier which contains pigments that absorb or reflect light on receiving or transmitting impulses of heat in the range of 50°C-200°C.


Pigment:


Pigment is a dye or organic colorant which is used in textile printing. The most commonly used pigments are carbon, iron oxide and zinc oxide. These dyes when applied to fibers or fabrics change the color as per the requirement of printer.
