Horizontal Molding:


Horizontal molding is a process of making ductile cast iron products such as pipes, channels, angles, sections by using the molds. The product made by this method has high strength and rigidity which makes it suitable for various industrial applications.


The raw material used in horizontal molding includes pig iron or steel; the temperature during the processing should be higher than 300°C but not more than 350°C so that ductile transformation takes place properly.
