In an electronic special gas (ESG), synthesis is used to convert raw materials such as carbon dioxide and water into useful products such as carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide. Synthesis gas, also known as syngas, consists of a mixture of gases produced during the process of petroleum refining consisting mainly of hydrogen and carbon monoxide along with some nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur and other impurities.
