Turbo expander is a device used in expanding the volume of air or gas by increasing its speed. It is mainly used for vacuum pumps, compressed air systems, and industrial gases. The turbo expander works on the principle of adiabatic expansion where heat generated from an initial temperature difference drives the gas to expand at a faster rate.
