Aluminum feed through capacitors are used in various applications such as LCD and LED backlight, DC motor speed control, RF modulator circuits, computer peripherals (MEMS), power supplies and more. Feed through capacitors have a metal case with an insulating layer that is placed between the outer case and the components. The aluminum electrolyte provides a conductive path for electricity to flow from one side of the capacitor to another without breaking its insulation.
