Ferro Liquid Display is a technology used to create displays that can show text, images and video. It works by suspending tiny particles of ferrofluid in a liquid display medium. When an electric current is applied, the ferrofluid reacts to the magnetic field and forms patterns that can be seen by the naked eye. Ferro Liquid Displays are important because they offer a low power alternative to traditional LCDs and are more readable in direct sunlight.

LFCC is a type of ceramic material that possesses ferroelectric properties. These are exhibited when electric current is applied across the ceramic body and then the direction of magnetization can flip depending on the polarity of current. The ceramics are manufactured using materials such as alumina, silica, zirconia and hafnia along with additives such as bismuth oxychloride, potassium oxide and sodium oxide among others.


Relaxation Type Ferroelectric Ceramics:


Relaxation type ferroelectric ceramics are a group of materials that can relax electric dipoles when subjected to an applied magnetic field. The most common example is antiferromagnetic coupling, which occurs between two magnets if they are close enough together. In the case of antiferromagnetic coupling, there is no net magnetism since the exchange of energy between the magnets leads to relaxation and re- establishment of electrical neutrality.
