A fiberglass geogrid is a synthetic material made from glass fibers that are oriented in a grid-like pattern. Biaxial Tension:
Biaxial tension is a measure of the stress in fiberglass geogrid.
The product has wide applications such as reinforcing agent, adhesive and sealant, structural member, etc.
Uniaxial Tension:
Uniaxial tension is a measure of the internal force that acts on an element in a fiberglass grid during loading. It is independent of the shape and size of elements as well as their position in the fiberglass grid. Uniaxial tension can be represented by either normal or shear stress components, depending upon whether it is applied parallel to the fibers (normal), along fibers (shear) or across them at 90 degrees (tangential).
Application Insights:
