Low Density Foamed Polyethylene (LDPE) is a type of polyethylene that has low molecular weight and high density. It is produced by the polymerization of ethylene, which takes place at temperatures between 110-125ºC under normal pressure conditions. LDPE has several properties such as it can be easily processed, molded & extruded and also have a high melting point compared to other types of polymers.
