MEA Triazine:


It is a colorless and toxic organic compound, which is used as an intermediate in the production of several chemicals such as herbicides, insecticides, fungicides. It has also been used in the synthesis of polyoxymethylene (POM) and other plastics.


The demand for triazine was high during the 70s & 80s owing to its extensive use by DuPont for manufacturing nylon 6 products.


MMA Triazine:


MMA triazine is a colorless, crystalline solid that is soluble in water and ethanol. It has a molecular weight of 132.4 and the chemical formula of C3H5N3S2.

The increasing demand for 1, 3, 5-triazine is derived from its wide range of applications in various industries such as coatings, adhesives & sealants production; paper coatings; rubber manufacturing; leather production; plastics processing and agriculture chemicals.


In the plastic industry, 1, 3, 5-triazine is used to produce polyamide 11 (PA 11) which is further utilized to manufacture high strength low weight engineering plastics with properties such as impact resistance and wear resistance that are highly valued in automotive & industrial applications worldwide. In addition PA 11 has excellent solvent resistance which makes it ideal for use in printing ink formulations where high image quality reproduction is required along with durability and weatherability required for outdoor advertising purposes on vehicles or billboards.
