Industrial grade is a high purity form of Diphenylguanidine (Dipiguanil) used as an intermediate for the production of various chemicals. It has applications in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other industries. The chemical is manufactured using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technology with 99% yield from toluene and benzene extraction process followed by purification by vacuum evaporation and crystallization.


Application Insights:


Vulcanization of rubber was the largest application segment and accounted for a volume share of over 80.0% in 2017. 1, 3–Diphenylguanidine is used across multiple applications in the manufacturing of tires including summer, winter and all-terrain types. It helps reduce rolling resistance by increasing air permeability thus lowering the tire pressure for optimum performance.
