2-Acetylpyridine, also known as acpip or 2-AP, is an organic compound and a pyrrolizine derivative. It has a molecular weight of 132.4 and boiling point of 208 °C (decompose at -78 °C). It is a crystalline solid that dissolves in water with the formation of two complementary hydroxyl groups.
