2-Hydroxyacetophenone is a chemical, which is also known as 2- hydroxypropionate. It has a pyrrolizidine ring with two carbon chains and one hydroxyl group. The chemical formula for this compound is C6H5CH2OH and it's usually written as HAuCl4. This compound exists in white crystalline form, which has an odor similar to vinegar.
