Product Definition:


2,6-DTBP is a derivative of toluene that is used as an additive in gasoline to reduce knocking. It is also used as a solvent and an intermediate in the production of other chemicals.


99% Purity:


2,6-DTP is a 99% pure form of the chemical compound. It is a clear and colorless liquid with an almond-like odor. 2,6-DTBP can be easily prepared by mixing 1 part of 2, 6 -dithiobis (allyl bromide) with 10 parts of benzene in the presence of calcium chloride as a catalyst at 100°C for about 16 hours.


99.5% Purity:


99.5% purity is a very high quality product, which has been used in the synthesis of 2,6-Dibromoindoline (DBI). DBI is an intermediate chemical that is used for manufacturing plastics and polyurethanes. The demand for DBI has been increasing over the past few years on account of its application scope in various end-use industries such as automotive & transportation and construction.
