Purity 99% is a special type of 3-aminopyridine, which has purity level more than 99%. It's produced by the reaction of ortho-phthalaldehyde with pyridine. Ortho-phthalaldehyde is prepared by the reaction between phosphorous oxychloride and thioanisole.


Purity 98%:


Purity 98% is a colorless and highly hygroscopic crystalline solid, which is soluble in water (2 g/100 mL) and ethanol (20%. It has an odor similar to that of ammonia. Purity 98% can be used as an intermediate for the production of chemicals such as 3-aminopyridine, 4-aminopyridine, 5-aminoindole, 6-aminohexanoic acid.
