Purity 99% is a special grade of 6-azauracil used as an antiseptic and disinfectant. It has the highest concentration of 6-azauracil that can be obtained in any commercial source. Purity 99% is manufactured by two different processes, one involves crystallization from hot water and other from sodium carbonate solution which contains limestone (calcium carbonate).
