These devices consist of multiple electrodes which are inserted into the body through a hollow tube. This procedure is done by using radiofrequency waves to destroy targeted tissues without affecting any other tissue nearby.
Single Point Ablation Catheters:
Single point ablation catheters are used for the treatment of slow-growing or non-communicable diseases. The disease can be treated by reducing the size of a tumor which is done with the help of single point ablation catheter. This device consists of a hollow, flexible tube attached to an energy source like radiofrequency (RF) or microwave (MW).
