Wet Solid:
Wet solid is also known as colloidal dispersion and it is a suspension of solid particles in a liquid. It can be produced by two methods: emulsion method and lyophilization method. In the emulsion method, the particles are mixed with an oil-water solution; whereas, in lyophilization process, the particle’s shell is made from silica gel or some other highly porous material which allows water to pass through but prevents the formation of crystals.
