It has a molecular weight of 132.4 and pka value of 4.2, it's commercially available in water soluble form as an odorless white powder which can be used as an additive for food & beverages, pharmaceuticals & personal care products among others.


2-Ethylhexyl Acid Phosphate:


2-ethylhexyl acid phosphate is a white crystalline compound and is soluble in water, ethanol, ethyl ether and diethyl ether. It has a slight odor. 2-Ethylhexanol (2-EH) is an organic liquid that consists of one carbon atom bonded to two hydroxymethyl groups and two ethylene groups.
