Product Definition:


Acrolein is a colorless liquid with a pungent, acrid odor. It is the simplest unsaturated aldehyde, and is therefore an important intermediate in the chemical industry. Acrolein forms by the oxidation of propylene in air. It has been used as an herbicide and as a disinfectant.


Acrylic Acid 100%:


Acrylic acid is a colorless, water-soluble, and highly reactive organic compound. It can be derived from petrochemicals or renewable resources such as corn starch and sugar. The most common method for its production is by catalytic hydrogenation of acrylic acid ester to produce acrylic acid anhydride which in turn reacts with hydrogen gas to form the final product.


Acrylic Acid 80%:


Acrylic acid is a colorless and highly flammable organic compound. It has a strong odor similar to that of nail polish remover. It is soluble in water, ethanol, and diethyl ether but not in chloroform or carbon tetrachloride. The industrial form of the compound is usually sold with an 80% concentration level as acrylic acid monomer or polymer (AA80) which can be further processed to produce polyacrylic acid (PAA).
