However, it is insoluble in diethyl ether and hexane because of the presence of an unbalanced hydrogen ion (acid) concentration that results in the precipitation of solid crystals or needles respectively.


Ethyl Acrylate:


Ethyl acrylate is a chemical compound derived from acrylic acid. It is primarily used in the production of acrylic thermoplastic elastomers (APE). Ethyl acrylate also acts as an intermediate during the manufacturing process of methyl methacrylate (MMA), styrene, and butadiene.
