Pitot-static tester is a device used to measure the static pressure in an aircraft cabin. It is connected to pitot tubes, which are usually located at the front of an aircraft. Eddy current Tester:
An Eddy current tester is an electronic device used to measure the magnetic flux density (B) and electrical conductivity (S) in a sample. It works on the principle of induction by using a coil connected to an electric circuit. The generated current is detected by two probes which are placed in proximity, one of them acts as a detector and other as a source of inductance.
The detection process involves measuring the change in magnetic flux between source.
