Triggers are the essential factors that initiate or accelerate the action of a particular substance. In pesticides, triggers refer to substances that change the behavior of pests and make them more susceptible to attack by other ingredients in pesticide. Pesticides can have different trigger concentrations for various pest species; however, they all share similar properties such as death and dependency on food (insects).
There are two types of pesticides: contact and non-contact.
