An air purifier is an apparatus used to remove contaminants from the air. The basic difference between an Air Purifier and a HEPA filter is that an Air Purifier can handle both small and large particles whereas a HEPA filter can only handle very small particles.
Humidifier:
Humidifier is a device used to maintain the moisture level in the air. It does this by absorbing or dissolving water from the air and re-circulating it with added humidity. Humidifiers are also known as vaporizers, dehumidifiers, or evaporative coolers.
Humidity levels above 40% can cause discomfort and increase the risk of mold growth, rusting of equipment & furniture as well as corrosion on car engines & windows (from condensation).
