Plastics wheel aircraft chokes are used in the manufacturing of electrical connectors and tubing. The plastic wheel is turned by hand or powered by a motor to form the desired shape. It is then smoothened out with a grinding plate followed by an abrasive cloth until it attains its final dimensions.
The process of plastics shaping using this equipment gives rise to numerous problems such as deformation, cracking, warping, shrinkage.
