Alchlor is an organic compound with the formula C2HCl3. It is a colorless, oily liquid that dissolves in water to give hydrochloric acid. Alchlor was used in the production of chlorinated solvents and other chemicals.

Anhydrous Alchlor is a colorless and highly flammable gas with a strong odor. It is usually formed as an by-product in the manufacturing of other chemicals such as phosgene, ortho chlorobenzene, and dichlorobenzene. Anhydrous alchlor can also be produced naturally by the decomposition of olefins in the presence of moisture.


Crystalline Alchlor:


Crystalline Alchlor is a colorless and highly toxic substance. It has a strong odor similar to garlic or rotten eggs. Crystalline Alchlor is used in the production of Al chloroethylene (ACE), which is one of the major raw materials for plastics manufacturing.
