Liquid is also used as feedstock for manufacturing other products such as alkyd resins, synthetic waxes and lubricants among others.


Solid:


Solid is a product that contains high amount of polysulfide. It is also used as an intermediate in the production of chemicals such as alkyl polysulfides, thiosulphate, and methanol. Solid can be produced by the reaction between sulfur and sodium carbonate or by thermal decomposition process.
