Mono-Alkoxysilane:


Mono-alkoxysilane, also known as OMS or (RSiO)3, is an organic compound with a chemical structure similar to that of silica. However, the molecular weight of OMS is much higher than that of silica and its formula is Si(O)3. It has a monoclinic crystal structure and can be described as waxy solid.


Di-Alkoxysilane:


Di-Alkoxysilane is a colorless liquid with an odor similar to that of garlic. It is soluble in diethyl ether, acetone, and ethanol but insoluble in water. The molecular formula for Di-Alkoxysilane is (CH3)3SiO2 and the molecular weight is 85.8.


Di-Alkoxysilane has applications as adhesives.
