Anhydrous denatured ethyl alcohol, also known as high purity or pure ethanol, is a type of ethanol with an impurity level below 0.5%. It is produced by the hydrolysis of an aqueous solution of ethylene glycol (dehydrate) and has around 40% more solubility in water than normal ethanol.
Middle Purity:
Middle Purity is a type of Denatured Ethyl Alcohol (DEA) that has passed through the distillation system at least three times and contains no more than 70.0% alcohol by volume. It is used as an intermediate in manufacturing various chemicals such as solvents, adhesives, coatings, pharmaceuticals & intermediates and other specialty products such as printing inks & cosmetics.
