Arsenic tribromide is a salt formed by the reaction of arsenic trioxide and bromine. It has a bright yellow color with an intense brassy-ness. Arsenic tribromide is used in various applications such as for removing halogens from water, production of poly Brominated Nylon 6 (PBN6), and production of pesticides called Dibromopropane (DBP).
