An automotive sensor is a device that measures a physical quantity and converts it into an electrical signal. The electrical signal is then sent to an electronic control unit, which uses it to calculate the appropriate action. Two Holes:

The basic principle of operation is that one end of the wire (supply) is connected to positive voltage side of the first device and other end (demand) is connected to negative voltage side of the second device. When signal between these two points travels through wire, it creates fluctuation in electric current which varies as per requirement.
