Product Definition:
An Automotive Torque Sensing LSD is a differential that uses sensors to detect the amount of torque being applied to each wheel. This allows the differential to send more power to the wheel with more traction, improving performance and stability.

Cone-type light sensitive LSDs are manufactured using a different technology from the rod-based type. Cone-type light sensitive LSDs were first introduced by SMP (Signal Methode and Power) in Europe, and later on developed into North America. The major advantage of this product is that it can be used even when the vehicle is in motion, unlike other products that require the vehicle to be stationary for its operation.
Plate-Type LSDs:
The Plate-Type LSDs are used in automotive torque sensing type. The torque sensing type is widely used in the passenger car and heavy commercial vehicles.
