675 is a type of electrolytic cell that uses zinc anode and copper cathode. It has two electrodes with a separator between them. The anode is positively charged while the cathode is negatively charged. When the battery discharges, it goes through oxidation/reduction cycle where Zn2+ ions move from cathode to Anodic side and Cu2+ ions move from Anodic side to Cathodic side due to presence of electrolyte in between them.
