Temporary is a medical device used for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH) in males. It is also used to treat Erectile Dysfunction (ED) in males suffering from spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and other diseases that affect the nervous system. The temporary device consists of two components-a penile prosthesis and a reservoir connected by an implantable pump which releases medication into the penis during sexual stimulation.
Long-term:
Long-term is a medication that helps men with BPH to reduce the size of the prostate gland and improve urinary flow. Long-term treatment with this medicine allows patients to avoid surgery (if performed) and continue taking care of their health as before. This drug works by reducing the size of the gland, which improves urine flow through open duct systems.
