UV- 326 is a UV absorbent developed by the collaboration of domoic acid and benzotriazole. It has been tested to have an absorption coefficient in the range of 5.1 - 5.5 (W/M) at 254 nm, which gives it an ability to absorb around 19% of incident UV radiation in comparison with other commercial compounds having a maximum absorption coefficient of 17%.


UV-327:


UV-327 is a white crystalline compound, which is soluble in water and ethanol. It has a molecular weight of 327.8 and an ionic strength of 1.2%. UV-327 absorbs in the UV range between 200nm to280nm with maximum absorption at 265 nm wavelength. The product has good solubility in organic solvents such as acetone, ethyl ether, chloroform and diethyl ether along with water and ethanol solution.
