A black mineral is a type of rock that is composed of a ferrous material. These minerals are often used in the production of various objects, including tools and weapons.


Biotite:


Biotite is a mineral, belonging to the group of minerals known as alkali silicate minerals. Biotite consists of magnesium-aluminum silicate and potassium-iron oxide (KFe2O3) groups. It has a close resemblance with the common table salt (sodium chloride or just plain table sugar). Both are white in color, soft in texture and have a crystalline structure like many other minerals such as talc, glass beads etc.


Hematite:


Hematite is a mineral, consisting of iron andosilicate. It occurs as an accessory mineral in various rocks including sedimentary and metamorphic. The hematite contains iron oxide (Fe2O3) along with some silica (SiO2). Hematite is used as a source for the production of magnetic Levitus Stone which has widespread usage in the navigation industry due to its magnetic properties.
