Product Definition:
Blood pressure cuffs are devices used to measure blood pressure. They are typically made of cloth or leather and fitted around the upper arm. A rubber band is inflated to constrict the flow of blood in the arm, and then released to measure the resulting pressure.
Reusable Cuffs:
Reusable cuffs are used in blood pressure monitoring. They are made of cloth, plastic or metal and have two ends connected by a hinge. One end is closed with a valve that allows the inflation of the cuff to be inflated by pumping air into it through an attached pump or manually. The other end has a measurement reading that can be seen easily without unfastening the cuff from your arm.
Disposable Cuffs:
Disposable cuffs are used in blood pressure monitoring. They are made of non-reactive material and have a valve attached to them so that the cuff can be inflated with blood. The size of the cuffs is decided according to the size of arm or leg of patient, generally they range between 3 - 4 inches in diameter.
