Product Definition:


The purpose of a brazing flux is to clean the metal surfaces to be joined and to protect them from oxidation during heating. Brazing flux also helps the molten brazing alloy flow into and around the joint.

Silver Brazing Flux:


Silver brazing flux is used in soldering operations to protect the base metal from oxidation and to provide a surface on which the joint can be made. It also helps in maintaining the temperature of the base metal during soldering, thus preventing it from heating up and causing a fire. The product is available as an alloy with other metals such as tin, copper or zinc.
