Single-walled Nanotubes(SWNTs):


Single-walled nanotubes (SWNTs) are narrow, single-stranded carbon fibers that are highly flexible and have high aspect ratio. Double-walled Nanotubes:


Double-walled nanotubes are carbon nanotubes with two layers of shell, one inner and one outer. The structure provides a barrier to water vapor and other aqueous solutions that are external to the tube. This increases the CNT’s utility in applications where water vapor is expected to be a problem such as in heat transfer devices or fuel cells.
