A carbonyl oxysulfide (COS) is a colorless gas with an unpleasant odor. It is used as a fumigant to control pests in stored grain and other commodities.


2N:


2N, also known as dihydroxyphosphane or hydroxylammonium phosphate, is a chemical compound of oxygen and hydrogen. It is a white crystalline solid that belongs to the family of chemicals known as phosphates. 2N can be used in various applications such as detergents, fertilizers, paints & coatings removers and fabric softeners among others.


3N:


3N is the third raw material that is used in the production of COS. It has a sulfur content of more than 99%. The most important application of 3N is as a key raw material for producing polysulfide resins, which are further processed to manufacture plastic and rubber products.


The other applications include it's use as an intermediate for manufacturing chemicals such as thionyl chloride, alkyl halides,.

The semiconductor application segment led the global market and accounted for more than 35.0% share of the overall revenue in 2017.
