Anaerobic:


Anaerobic is a chemical process that does not involve the presence of oxygen. In anaerobic fermentation, there is no generation of carbon dioxide and little or no production of heat. Fermented dairy products such as yogurt, cheese, and kefir are produced anaerobically by allowing bacteria to grow in a sealed container at room temperature.
