AC system has a range of 50 - 60 hertz in commercial buildings, while DC system has a frequency of around 24000 hertz and above.

The medium voltage electric is the range of AC voltage between 0 to and 30 kV. It is used in power transformers, switchgears, distribution boards, sub-transmission lines and substation. The transformer core consists of two metal windings connected by a magnetic field; one of the windings is normally grounded while the other carries an electrical current.
